Is There a New X-ADV in 2021?
During its press conference on November 10, 2020, Honda presented its updates to existing models, and our favorite "SUV" scooter is among the models getting a fresh makeover!
We have to admit, we really like this new XADV!!

Let's review the new features compared to the 2020 model:
- The engine now complies with Euro5 standards and gains 3 kW (about 4 hp) and 600 rpm before the rev limiter
- Shorter gear ratios in the first three gears for more dynamism, and longer in the last three gears for fuel efficiency
- DCT gearbox whose behavior adapts to the driving mode
- The addition of electronic throttle "TBW - Throttle By Wire" with 5 driving modes: STANDARD, RAIN, GRAVEL, SPORT, and USER (customizable by the user)
- Improved traction control with adjustable sensitivity in three levels
- Weight reduced by 2.4 kg (mainly due to frame and engine optimization)
- Modified seat contour shape to improve seat height (still at 820mm, but should make it easier to have feet flat on the ground)
- New 5-inch color TFT dashboard with Honda voice control system
- New LED lights with a daytime running light that adjusts to ambient brightness
- Automatic turn signal cancellation
On the accessories side, there are the new factory side cases and handguard extensions (similar to what is found on the 2020 Africa Twin Standard).
Four colors will be available for this first year: black, gray, and red.

At xadvshop.com, this evolution will of course be taken into account with the opening of a specific category for this new machine.
